Good one...for viewers it is like standing in a nude beach and staying indifferent towards nudity.

Viewers have become so open-minded towards cinema that they are not cut down by opinions on sex, they want to relate more to the story and a nude element can never make-up for the whole story of even the ’most awaited movies’ of the year

We are not limiting our discussion to India but I am talking about the entire population of the world.

Moreover, I think even you would not prefer nudity in front of your family because that is India... you always respect females and elders.

I hope you are not an exceptional case in India.

Jo jo maharaj, i totally agree with you. its wishful thinking that sex does not sell as well as it used to. i dont question the surveys or studies, i just feel they pooled a different demography, possibly consisting of elites and educated who dont want to look crude acknowledgin their voyeurism. Sex sells, it may morph into a more classy representation but if you pick any magazine of value, Esquire, Maxim, Vogue, Harper Bazaar, its peppered with images of nude men and women in supine suggestive poses. Also, the movies with lots of sex may have bombed for lack of a good story or script or decent actors, factors that ring the death knell for any movie.
Besides, Indians claim to respect their women and elders, yet Sati, dowry, eve-teasing and education for women remain a problem. We need to first respect each other as individuals before making broad claims.
